What are you doing up here Devin I told you to stay in your room you’ll be safe there’ father wasn’t happy that I arrived on the bridge? I left my brother in the room, gawping out the window. I believed anywhere would be safe on a ship this size so I didn’t budge and found a chair near the engineering section, that kept my father quiet.

Sir it looks like they are moving around the planet’ the Flight officer said both dreadnaughts pulled away, avoiding the heavy batteries of the Warfire. They tried to return in kind, A glancing hit of the forward shields there was a small vibration.

It wasn’t just built for war either, they had several launchable mini bases they could send into the atmosphere, to provide aid or in orbit for defense, with a whole deck dedicated to medical bays for a crisis on most planets and leisure decks to keep the crew happy while on long haul tours of duty through space it truly was a home away from home.

I even overheard Bracken saying ‘older Titan models used to have six main generators, but the reliability was never there, so they upgrade these newer models with eight making it easier for power distribution,’ he continued while we moved through corridors, traveling up the elevators making it to the bridge.

BEGINNING OF THE END CHAPTER 9

That was amazing, I mean those illusions are so real I even felt exhausted and in pain, grandma is’ I jumped with excitement.
‘Amazing now will you calm down’ mother finished my sentence. Mother had rested her hand on my shoulder becoming calmer. We had all moved to the tactical room which was the central area of the ship. A display spun slowly in the center showing the capital in all its glory.

Father assumed the flight into space would give us time to relax after such an ordeal, my thoughts on that subject was the nervous looks the parents gave each other. Varak was in the corner still not understanding it wasn’t real. He was sulking a little, I saw.
